Llanfoist and the End of the World

This was just to good to pass up. From the Monmouthshire Merlin, 9 September 1843:

I will have to add this to my "History of LDS Church in Llanfoist" page.

Remember that at this time, Elinor Jenkins Vaughan had been baptized a member of the church (1841). She did not go to Utah until 1856 maybe out of poverty, maybe because no other family would go until John and Jane Vaughan Lewis did.

And the Elders did not baptize "half" the village of Llanfoist. There were a handful and I'll keep working to identify as many as I can.
